Building lives for new Americans!

El Centro de Ayuda, the Center of Help, was established in 1999 to offer assistance to the previously underserved non-English speaking population of Anne Arundel County.

The Center is organized exclusively for charitable purposes.

It is the policy of the Center of Help to provide services to all persons without regard to race, color, national origen, religion, sex, age or disability.

Our Mission

Our mission is to promote self-sufficiency and the successful integration of Hispanic/Latinos and other immigrant families into Annapolis and the greater community of Anne Arundel County.

A word from Board President Patricia Omana on an easy way to support Centro de Ayuda by a payroll deduction plan:

"When you sign up for your workplace charity campaigns, please assign the Center of Help as your choice.

If you live and work in Maryland, there are 3 ways you can donate to The Center of Help - Centro de Ayuda through your workplace giving campaigns - and it raises money for The Center all year round!!"

Here are the three options:

  1. United Way of Central Md. #47
  2. The Combined Federal Campaign- (CFC) #78235
  3. Maryland Combined Campaign #2869
