Assistant and Referral ASSISTANCE AND REFERRAL

The assistance and referral programs are offered five days a week, in our three locations: at our Gartner Center Office in Annapolis, MD, at Department of Social Services on Mondays in Glen Burnie, MD, and on Fridays in one of our Anne Arundel County Public Schools.

The Center of Help, with our experienced and dedicated caseworkers, can help YOU with:

Educational Programs at the Center of Help in Annapolis, MD 21401 EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

The Center of Help provides Educational Programs which are an essential component for our families to become self-sufficient and fully integrated into our community. Our programs includes:

  • English as a Second Language: for adult learners at any level
  • Citizenship and Immigration: for Legal Permanent Residents going through the naturalization process
  • Club of Leadership and Learning: for children in Elementary, Middle and High School
  • Financial Literacy Program

Employment and Job Search Support at the Center of Help in Annapolis, MD 21401EMPLOYMENT SERVICES

The Center of Help supports the Hispanic, Latino community with job search, job applications, and resume writing.

Health Insurance SupportHEALTH CARE INSURANCE

The Center of Help is now officially designated as an Application Counselor Sponsoring Entity by the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange.
Our caseworker, Paula Gray, is now a certified application counselor! She can now help our families to enroll in the health care insurance through the Maryland Health Connection. For more information please contact us.

    Come and Celebrate with us the Cinco de Mayo. We will have raffles, food, vine and more. Invite a friend, we garantie you a lot of fun!

    The Center of Help will host its traditional End of the Year Celebration! Our Celebration is the time when the Center of Help/Centro de Ayuda get together with its Board of Directors, staff members and volunteers to distribute gifts to our families in need.
    This year, YOU CAN "Adopt a child!": Send us an email at with the name of the child (children) you would like to donate a gift to; If you do not know the name of the child just contact us and we will give you the name and age of the child you can adopt.
